1. Why is respiration important for a cell ? respiration is important for a cell because you can not have a cell without it respiration helps it to produce energy
2. Explain the relationship between photosynthesis and respiration. If you cant produce energy for the photosynthesis to occur than you can not get the compound from photosynthesis
3. Which raw material is not needed for fermentation to occur? lots of microorganisms are needed to cause fermentation you also must have sugar for feeding yeast and heat for the yeast the 2 combined makes yeast grow because it is a living organism
4. How do plants and animals maintain the level of oxygen in the atmosphere? plant give off oxygen by taking in carbon dioxide and animals use energy and give off carbon dioxide
5. Do plant cells need to carry out respiration? Explain. no because they already produce energy
