Types of Government

Showing the Meaning of Each Government

QuestionAnswer
Monarchy A ruler inherits power and when they pass away the monarchs children inherit the power.
Absolute Monarchy IS when the king or queen have total power over his subjects.
Constitutional Monarchy There is a king and queen but the real power is in the people the citizens elected.
Dictatorship Is when one person or small group has absolute power over others.
Democracy It is mainly the people who are in charge and get to elect there leaders
Theocracy It is when a god is in charge and people claim power by saying their god gave them the right to rule.
Primary Source Are an original first hand record of the subject being studied
Secoundary Source Are books or websites from people who did not actually witness the event.
Bias A writer who is bias only tells one side of the story.
Fact Can be checked or research and verified
Opinion Is something someone feels or predicts.
Perspective Is a point of view of which something is being seen
Historic Perspective Is how someone saw something from the past.
Contemporary Perspective Is how someone sees something now.
Propaganda Is when something is made to mess with the publicĀ“s thoughts and emotions.
Name Calling Using negative words to describe something.
Testimonial A support from someone famous.
Bandwagon It implies that if everyone else is doing it so should you
Glittering Generalities To use unclear language to describe something.
