Weather tools/clouds
| Term | Definition |

| Cumulus | Puffy with flat and rounds tops that signal fair weather. |
| Cirrus | Wispy, feathery clouds made of icy crystals that from at high levels. |
| Stratus | Clouds that from in flat layers and often cover much of the sky. |
| Nimbus | A rain cloud. |
| Fog | A status clouds that forms when air is cooled to its dew point near the ground. |
| Anemetor | An instrument used to measure wind speed. |
| Wind Vane | Instrument used to measure wind direction. |
| Thermometer | An instrument used to measure temperature. |
| Sling Psychometer | Tool made of a wet and dry thermometer that measures relative humidty and requires a table to intrpret the two temperatures. |
| Barometoer | An instrument that measures atmospheric pressure. |
| Rain gauge | An instrument used to measure preciptation. |
| Weather map | A map that uses symbols to show weather data. |
| Weather satelites | Type of satelight that is primaly used to monitor the weather and climate change of the Earth. |
| Weather radar | Is an instrument that sends pulses of electromagnit energy intot he atmosphere to find preciptation , to determine its motion and intensity, identify the preciptation type such as rain, snow, and hail. |
| Isobar | Line on a map connecting points having the same baromic reading at a given time. |
| Isotherm | A line on a map that joins places that have the same temps. |
| cummolonimbus | Are thunderstorm clouds.High winds can flatten the top. Rain, snow, hail, and sleet. |
