QuestionAnswer
Abrasions Also known as a scrape, rug burn, or road rash.
Lacerations A cut in the skin caused by a sharp object such as a knife or broken glass.
Avulsions A portion of the skin that is partially or completey torn off.
Punctures A sharp object, such as a nail that pierces the skin.
Radiation burns always cool the burn and protct the area from futher damage by keeping it out of the sun.
Electrical burns Electrical burns need advance medical care.
Caring for open wounds Needs some type of covering to help control bleeding and prevent infection.
