MOA Prevent synthesis of ergosterol and hibit fungal cytochrome P-450
AR Liver toxicities may develop, therefore liver function tests are recommended. gastrointestinal distress may occur. Photosensitivity, rashes, and nausea.
SC May be used as either topical or systemic agent. Pulse dosing is recommended for nail fungal infections. Consuming a cola before taking itraconazole is recommended. Fatty meals should be taken with griseofulvin.
SC continuted Fluconazole suspension should be refrigerated and will expire in 14 days.
