Earth's Systems

| Geosphere | All the rock, soil, and sediments that make up Earth's land. |
| Hydrosphere | All the ocean's, rivers, lakes and water on Earth. |
| Biosphere | All the living things on Earth. |
| Atmosphere | All the gases that surround the earth. |
| Erosion | The process of moving things from one place to another. |
| Erosion | After pieces of the earth are broken down throgh weathering, those pieces are moved through this process. |
| Atmos- | The prefix of the word atomosphere; atmos means "air". |
| Bio- | The prefix of the word biosphere. Bio means "life". |
| Hydro - | The prefix of the word hydrosphere. It means "water". |
| Geo- | The prefix of the word geosphere. Geo means "earth". |
| Troposphere | Bottom layer fo the atmopshere, where weather takes place and we breathe the air |
| Stratosphere | The second layer up, above troposphere, where larger planes fly. |
| Mesosphere | Third layer up, above stratosphere, where it is very cold |
| Thermosphere | Fourth layer up, above mesosphere, where our stellites can be found orbiting Earth |
