What is a gymnosperm? A plant whose seeds are not in an ovary.
What is an angiosperm? A plant whose seeds are formed in flowers.
What is a spore? A one-celled reproductive structure.
What is a thallophyte? A plant that does not have a vascular system.
What do we call plants that have vascular systems? Tracheophytes.
Name one example of a thallophyte. Moss, liverwort, fungi, bacteria, algae.
Is a sequoia a gymnosperm? Yes.
What is a rhizoid? A moss's "rootlike system" that "absorbs water and nutrients."
On what day of Creation did God create all vegetation? Third.
Who gave names to all living creatures? Adam.
What did all creatures eat before the Flood? Plants.
What was mankind allowed to eat after the Flood? Animals.
According to Genesis 1:28, God told man to have dominion over all living things. What does this mean? Rule over them.
On what day of creation did God make land animals and man? Sixth.
