physical reaction a reaction that changes the form of something, but does not change the molecules
reactants the substances that you start with in a chemical reaction
products the substances that the reactants make during a chemical reaction
endothermic reaction when the reactants absorb energy during a chemical reaction
exothermic reaction when energy is released during a chemical reaction
compound a combination of two or more different elements
