Bacteria and viruses

Cytosol the liquid part of the cytoplasm
Vaccine a substance used to create antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases.
Conjugation the process by which one bacterium transfers genetic material to another through direct contact
Capsid The protein coat that surrounds the nucleic acid of the virus.
Capsule A slimy layer that surrounds the cell
