What is the Wannseekonferenz? a meeting between Nazi officers on how to get rid of Jewish people.
Where are most unidentified species thought to be? Tropical rain forests and the unexplored oceans.
How do populations evolve? Genes mutate and enhance one's ability to survive and reproduce.
What is the main cause of mass extinctions? Climate change.
What elements are including in biodiversity? Genetics, species, and habitats.
What are the reasons for biodiversity decline? Habitat destruction and conversion, population growth, invasive species, and overuse of resources.
What are some environmental changes caused by humans? Climate change, extinction, overuse of resources, pollution, nuclear technology, deforestation, and the spread of trace elements.
Is there a balance of nature? No, nature is ever changing and never perfect.
What are some pine tree adaptations? Thick bark, seed filled pine cones, and fluid in the roots to rehydrate after catching fire.
