| present continuous | indicates that an action or condition is happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future. |
| past simple | used to talk about a completed action in a time before now. |
| present perfect | a tense used in present to indicate the action that has taken place at some specific time. |
| past perfect | an event happened in the past before another event in the past. |
| present perfect continuous | describes an action or situation that started in the past (usually in the recent past) and continues in the present. |
| future simple | used to refer to actions or states that begin and end in the future. |
