Term/QuestionDefinition/Answer
CONSTANTS/CONTROLLED VARIABLES factors in an experiment that are kept the same.
INDEPENDENT VARIABLE the factor that is changed on purpose by the experimenter; there can only be one of these in an experiment.
DEPENDENT VARIABLE is the factor that responds or reacts to the independent variable; the factors that you measure or observe as data
