Natural Resources- Human Dependance on Natural Resources

atmosphere The whole mass of the air surround Earth made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and other traces of gases
biosphere The sum of all living matter on Earth
surface water Water found in oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams
groundwater Water that collects in cracks and pores in underground soil and rock layers.
limited resources Something that is needed by organisms and is not infinite in its abundance in the environment
unlimited resources Resources that have never-ending supply
renewable resources An energy resources such as trees or wind that is replaced by natural means
nonrenewable resources An energy resource that takes millions of years to form from the remains of plans and animals, such as coal, oil, and natural gas
energy resources A source or supply of energy that can be sued to generate electrical power to meet people's needs
geoscience process Any process that happens ON the Earth, such as weather, erosion, and plate tectonics
natural resources Resources that exist in the environment without human intervention
