Natural Resources- Human Dependance on Natural Resources

| atmosphere | The whole mass of the air surround Earth made up of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and other traces of gases |
| biosphere | The sum of all living matter on Earth |
| surface water | Water found in oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams |
| groundwater | Water that collects in cracks and pores in underground soil and rock layers. |
| limited resources | Something that is needed by organisms and is not infinite in its abundance in the environment |
| unlimited resources | Resources that have never-ending supply |
| renewable resources | An energy resources such as trees or wind that is replaced by natural means |
| nonrenewable resources | An energy resource that takes millions of years to form from the remains of plans and animals, such as coal, oil, and natural gas |
| energy resources | A source or supply of energy that can be sued to generate electrical power to meet people's needs |
| geoscience process | Any process that happens ON the Earth, such as weather, erosion, and plate tectonics |
| natural resources | Resources that exist in the environment without human intervention |
