Fresh water resources

QuestionAnswer
fresh water H20- water without anything in it.
salt water Water with salt and minerals in it.
water cycle The continuous movement of water through the environment of the Earth.
evaporation When water changes from a liquid to a gas.
condensation When water changes from a gas to a liquid in the atmosphere.
precipitation When water in any form falls from the sky in any form.
divide A ridge of high land from which water flows in different directions.
drainage basin An area into which all of the water on one side of a divide flows.
turnover The rise and sinking of cold and warm water layers in a lake.
eutrophication An increase of nutrients in a pond or lake.
