ROM Read only memory , contains instructions for the computer , this is permanent
RAM Random access Memory , the short term memory of the computer MORE RAM = MORE SPEED
Hard-Drives The long term memory of the computer , stores all your files and data
Power supply provides electricity
CPU Central processing unit
Heat sink a piece of metal that sits on top of the CPU
Software controls the physical parts
