| Electrical Energy | Energy resulting from the flow of electric charge through a conductor |
| Energy | What is needed to do work or cause change |
| Light Energy | Energy that allows us to see |
| Mechanical Energy | All the energy something has due to its movement and position. |
| Sound Energy | Energy that travels as waves through the air or water and vibrates the eardrum upon contact. |
| Thermal Energy | Energy that causes a transfer of heat between materials. |
| Lens | A clear piece of curved glass or plastic that bends passing light to focus or spread the light rays |
| Reflection | The bouncing of energy waves off the surface of an object |
| Refraction | The bending or redirection of energy waves as they pass from one substance to another |
| Circuit | The pathway through which electricity flows |
| Conductor | A material that allows heat or an electric current to flow through easily |
| Electric Flow | The flow of electrical energy through a circuit |
| Flow | To move or travel smoothly in a certain direction |
| Insulator | A material through which heat or electricity does not easily flow |
| Solar energy | Solar panels transforms energy from the sun into electrical energy. |
| Wind turbines | Uses kinetic energy of the wind to turn a generator and create electrical energy. |
| Hydroelectric | the generation of electricity using flowing water. |
| Geothermal | heat that comes from deep inside the Earth that is used to create electricity. |
