Operating System? The software that supports a computer's basic functions
5 Operating system names? Android, Linux, Mac OS, Windows, Chrome OS.
5 Operating system Jobs? Reviews, analyzes, develops, installs, and modifies the computer operating system
GUI A GUI uses windows, icons, and menus to carry out commands, such as opening, deleting, and moving files.
application software An application program is a computer program designed to carry out a specific task other than one relating to the operation of the computer itself, typically to be used by end-users
system software System software is software designed to provide a platform for other software
spyware Spyware is software with malicious behavior that aims to gather information about a person or organization and send it to another entity in a way that harms the user—for example, by violating their privacy or endangering their device's security
shareware Shareware is a type of proprietary software that is initially shared by the owner for trial use at little or no cost
Liteware a type of software utility with more reduced functionality than the full and paid version and is freely distributed to end users
freeware Freeware is software, most often proprietary, that is distributed at no monetary cost to the end user
public domain software Public-domain software is software that has been placed in the public domain, in other words, software for which there is absolutely no ownership such as copyright, trademark, or patent.
real-time processing Real-time computing is the computer science term for hardware and software systems subject to a "real-time constraint", for example from event to system response
multi-programming a rudimentary form of parallel processing in which several programs run at the same time on a uniprocessor system
batch processing Computerized batch processing is a method of running software programs called jobs in batches automatically.
interactive processing the process of interacting directly with a program and/or data for immediately modifying, retrieving and/or displaying information
multi-tasking (of a computer) execute more than one program or task simultaneously
multi-user access A Multi-user operating system is a computer operating system which allows multiple users to access the single system with one operating system on it.
file A file is an object on a computer that stores data, information, settings, or commands used with a computer program
file extension A filename extension, file name extension or file extension is a suffix to the name of a computer file. The extension indicates a characteristic of the file contents or its intended use
folder A file folder is a kind of folder that holds papers and money together for organization and protection
