Graduated Cylinder/Measuring Cup Measures liquids.
Scale Measures the weight of an object.
Tweezers/Forceps Can pick up small things.
Ruler Tells us the length of an object.
Dropper Transfers tiny liquid amounts.
Stand A piece of scientific equipment intended to support other pieces of equipment and glassware.
Test Tube A glass container used to hold chemicals during experiments.
Test Tube Rack A rack used to hold multiple test tubes upright at the same time.
Tuning Fork Two-pronged fork in the shape of a U that assesses vibratory sensation and hearing
Petri Dish Is a shallow transparent lidded dish that scientists use to hold cultures or bacteria.
Slides Used to hold specimens for viewing under compound light microscopes.
Lab Coat Provides protection of skin and personal clothing from incidental contact and small splashes.
Magnet An object that creates a magnetic field.
Beaker A cylindrical container with a flat bottom.
Bunsen Burner Device for combining a flammable gas with controlled amounts of air before ignition.
Flask Used for holding and measuring solutions, as well as for chemical reactions and phase changes (heating, cooling, etc).
Bulb Flask A flat bottomed bulb with a elongated neck calibrated to hold a set volume at a mark on the neck.
Funnel A tube or pipe that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, used for guiding liquid or powder into a small opening.
Syringe A small hollow tube used for injecting or withdrawing liquids.
