| Radiant energy | energy that travels on invisible waves [sunlight,solar energy,]heat from fire, x-rays microwave etc |
| Thermal energy | the energy that all matter has because it's particles atoms,molecules are in motion |
| Electrical energy | The energy that comes from moving electrons (can be static or current.) |
| Potential energy | Energy that is stored and ready to be used |
