| chemical energy | energy that is stored in the particles of matter (bicycle , wind , batteries , plants |
| mechanical energy | energy of motion or moving parts (bicycle , wind , turbine , ocean waves, wind , arms and legs) |
| radiant energy | energy that traversals on inadvisable waves (sunlight (solar energy , from fire x-ray microwaves) etc. |
| thermal energy | the energy that all matter has because its particles (atoms , molecules) are in motion |
| electrical energy | the energy that comes from moving electrons (can be static or current.) |
| potential energy | energy that is stored and ready to be used |
| kinetic energy | energy that s working or in motion |
| law of conversation of energy | energy cannot be created or destroyed , but it can be changed ( transformed , converted) to a different form or transferred from one object or another |
| converse | to save. in respect to energy it means that energy it means is never created or destroyed but always stays the same amount, even when its transfers or transformed |
| transfer | to move something form one place or one object to another - the same type of energy can be passed along from one object to another |
| transform or convert | other words that means the same thing as the word CHANGE. heat - the transfer or flow of thermal energy from a warmer object to a cooler object |
