| Hand lens | A tool used to bring an object closer into view. |
| Light Microscope | A tool that makes microscopic objects bigger by multiplying the power of the eyepiece. |
| Dropper | A tool that is a tube with a rubber bulb on one end that you squeeze to suck up liquid and then release it to let the liquid out. |
| Measure | Make observations involving numbers and units that are exact. |
| Temperature | How hot or cold something is. |
| Time | How long events take. |
