Mineral a naturally occurring, inorganic solid with a crystal structure and a definite chemical composition
Streak The color of the minerals powder
Luster How the mineral reflects light
Hardness The resistance of a mineral from being scratched.
Density The mass per unit volume.
Special Properties Special characteristics such as smell, taste and magnitism.
Inorganic not alive or never been alive.
Cleavage ability to break along smooth flat planes.
Fracture When a mineral breaks unevenly with jagged sharp edges.
Rock A mixture of 2 or more minerals.
