Rounding Rules - FI

All doses < 1 mL (PO, IM or IV) should be rounded to nearest? Hundreth
mL, L (IV or IM) should be rounded to nearest? tenth, unless < 1 mL then to the hundreth
mL, L (PO ONLY) should be rounded to nearest? whole number for adults and tenth for peds
tabs should be rounded to nearest? 1/2 tab (<0.24=smaller number, 0.25-0.74=ss tab, >=0.75)
caps should be rounded to nearest? whole capsule
drops, gett/min, units mEq should be rounded to nearest? whole number
mL/hr should be rounded to nearest? whole number (some special circumstances will require to the nearest tenth)
mcg, mg, g gr should be rounded to nearest? whole number for adults and tenth for peds
kb, lbs, oz should be rounded to nearest? tenth
