Name factors that increase blood pressure. Smoking, drinking alcohol, stress, high fat/salt diet
What can be caused by high blood pressure? Heart attacks and strokes

What Instrument used to measure body fat content? Skin fold calipers
What 3 factors can affect body mass index (BMI)? Age, sex, height
What do we call the number used to indicate being underweight or overweight? Body mass index (BMI)
What can be caused by low blood pressure? Fainting
What do we call the process of finding out if people have a health problem? Health Screening
What are the symptoms of bowel cancer? Changes to poo, bleeding from the bottom, tummy pain, bloating, losing weight without trying.
What are the symptoms of macular degeneration? affects the middle part of your vision, not the edges. Straight lines appear wavy, sensitivity to bright light.
What are the symptoms of Diabetes? feeling very tired, peeing more than usual, feeling thirsty all of the time, losing weight without trying.
How can we calculate maximum heart rate? Max heart rate= 220- age.
