condensation the process by which water vapor in the air (in clouds) is changed into liquid water
run off water that flows over the ground surface rather than soaking into the ground
accumulation the collection of precipitation into rivers, lakes, and oceans.
evaporation when sunlight warms the surface of the water causing it to change from a liquid to a gas or vapor.
pond a small body of water sourrounded by land
stream a small, narrow river
tributary a river or stream that flows into a larger river
creek a small stream
spring A natural source of water formed when water comes up to the ground surface.
sea a part of the ocean that is partly surrounded by land
