Summary Stating the main events that happened in the story. Characters, Problem, Resolution (CPR) for fiction.
Cause WHY something happens
Effect WHAT happens as a result
Diagram An outline that shows or explains how something works
Evidence Proof in the text to support your answer Ex: In paragraph 7, Marie said , "I don't like spaghetti." Therefore, I know she didn't pick that to eat for dinner.
Combine Put 2 sentences together to create one new, complete, compound sentence
Change to make DIFFERENT in order for better understanding
Subheading/Section Divides the text into sections and tells the central idea of each section
Title Identifies the topic of the text /tells what the text will be about
Multiselect Choose TWO (2) answers
Multipart There is a part A and a part B. Both questions go together.
