What is the stage after a main sequence for a small to medium mass star? giant
What is Arcturus? a red-orange giant that is brighter, but cooler than the sun
What is the stage after a main sequence for a high mass star? supergiant's
What is Deneb? a white supergiant that is brighter and hotter than the sun
What is a White dwarf? when a low-mass star has exhausted all its nuclear fuel
What is Sirius B? a white star that much more dim but hotter than the sun
