QuestionAnswer
What is gravity? The force that pulls all objects with mass toward one another.
Why do the planets revolve around the Sun? The Sun has more gravitational force than any of the planets in our solar system.
What is mass? Mass is the amount of matter in an object.
Does mass change from location to location? No, mass does NOT change from location to location.
Does weight change from location to location? Yes, weight DOES change from location to location.
What is weight? Weight is a measure of gravity exerted on an object.
Name all of the inner planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
Name all of the outer planets. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
Where is the asteroid belt located? The asteroid belt is located between Mars and Jupiter.
The greater the ___ of an object, the greater amount of gravitational force. Mass
