Time and Seasons on Earth

day A day is the time it takes for the Earth to rotate on its axis every 24 hrs-day and night
month A month or roughly 28.5 to 29.5 days is called lunation-Each complete lunar cycle of phases takes almost a month. -Moon Phases
year One year is the time it takes for the Earth to make a revolution around the Sun. 365 days = one year. As the Earth rotates on its axis every 24 hours, it is revolving around the Sun and tilting, creating the seasons.
seasons The four seasons are spring, summer, fall or autumn and winter. When it's winter in the Northern Hemisphere, it is summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
