natural resource any natural material that is used by humans.
Stewardship the careful and responsible management of resources.
Conservation the protection and wise use of natural resources.
renewable resource natural resource that can be replaced at the same rate at which it is consumed.
inexhaustible resource any resource that can never be used up.
nonrenewable resource resource that forms much more slowly than it is consumed.
fossil fuel a nonrenewable resource formed from the buried remains of plants and animals that lived long ago.
material resources natural resources that are used to make objects, food, or drink.
energy resources natural resources used to generate energy.
