Plants Part 1 - Plant needs, parts and photosynthesis

TermDefinition
Producer Plants are a producer. Plants make their own food in a process called photosynthesis.
Roots Help to hold the plant in the ground like an anchor. It also helps to soak up water and nutrients found in the soil.
Stem This plant part helps support the plant. It has internal function inside that has many tiny tubes. These thin tubes carry water, minerals, and food through the plant.
Leaves This plant part helps to make food for the plant in a process called photosynthesis
