TermDefinition
Cell Membrane Controls what enters and exits the cell
Nucleus Contains the cells DNA
Cell Wall (plant only!) Gives strength and structure to the cell
Cytoplasm The liquid part of the cell- Here is also where chemical reactions take place
Vacuole (plant only!) Removes WASTE from the cell
Mitochondria Here, the cells energy is produced
Chloroplast (plant only!) Absorbs light, key part in photosynthesis
