The Scientific Method Process used to conduct an experiment
Question/Problem The information you are looking for, must be testable + measurable
Hypothesis An educated guess of the outcome, If then statement.
Qualitative Observations Uses the 5 senses to gather information
Quantitative Observations Create a graph or chart based on your findings, have numbers
Inference Conclusion based on observations
Control What stays the same in the experiment
Independent Variable the 1 thing the scientist changes in the experiment
Dependent Variable the measurable results that are observed and recorded
Conclusion end results which contain your Claim, Evidence and Reasoning
Claim answers the question
Evidence write Quantitative Observations to prove the answer
