Circulatory, Digestive, and Respiratory Systems

| Circulatory system | the blood transportation system |
| Arteries | vessels that carry oxygen from heart to rest the body |
| Blood vessels | tubes to carry the blood |
| Capillaries | the tiniest vessels that connect arteries to vein |
| Heart | the organ inside the chest that pumps blood through your body |
| Veins | vessels that carry carbon dioxide back to your heart |
| Respiratory System | the body system that takes in oxygen and removes carbon dioxide |
| Trachea | the tube which carries air to the lungs; may also be called your windpipe |
| Lungs | the pair of organs used for breathing found in the chest |
| Diaphragm | muscle that forces air in and out of the lungs |
| Digestive System | system to break food down into tiny nutrients which your body uses for energy |
| Esophagus | carries food from mouth to stomach |
| Large intestine | tube that removes water and moves undigested food out of body |
| Small intestine | the part of the digestive system that extends from the stomach to the large intestines and completes the digestion of food |
| Stomach | muscle that mashes food and holds digestive acids to break down food (chemical breakdown) |
| Mouth | the beginning of digestive process; place where mechanical breakdown occurs |
| Cardiovascular System | another name for the Circulatory System |
