| competition | the struggle between two organisms to survive with limited resources |
| predation | one organism is the predator, and the other is the prey |
| symbiosis | relationship in which two species live closely together |
| commensalism | a relationship in which one species benefits and another species does not benefit but is unharmed. |
| mutualism | a relationship in which both species are benefitted |
| parasitism | when one organism is living with, on or inside another organism with damage to the organism also known as the host. |
