Introduction into Matter Notes

TermDefinition
Matter Anything that has mass and takes up space.
Mass The amount of matter in an object.
Weight The measure of the gravitational force on an object.
Volume The amount of space that an object takes up or occupies
Volume= Length x Width x Height or V=LxWxH
Density A measure of the amount of mass in a given volume.
Density= Mass/Volume
