Community An interacting group of various species in a common location.
Decomposer An organism that gets energy by breaking down dead organisms.
Population All the inhabitants of a particular town, area, or country.
Consumer An animal or plant that must eat to get its energy.
Ecosystem All the living and nonliving things that interact with each other in an environment.
Food Chain The order in which organisms, or living things, depend on each other for food.
Producer An organism that makes its own food; a plant.
