| Lunar Cycle | The representation of the moon's journey around the Earth. |
| Sequence | A set of related events, movements, or things that follow each other in a particular order. |
| Appearance | The way that someone or something looks. |
| Full Moon | The phase of the moon in which its whole disk is illuminated. |
| Moon | The large round object that circles the Earth and that shines at night by reflecting light from the sun. |
| New Moon | The phase that is invisible to us here on Earth because the moon is between the earth and the sun |
| Orbit | The path taken by one object circling around another object. |
| Pattern | Something that repeats itself regularly. |
| Rotate | To spin on an axis. |
| Seasons | The four divisions of the year (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) marked by particular weather patterns and daylight hours. |
| Shadow | When light is blocked by an object. |
