5 Author's Craft

Point of View

TermDefinition
First Person Point of View The author uses one character to tell the story through their own personal experiences, feelings, and opinions.
Third Person Point of View The author uses a narrator to tell the story, either through the eyes of another character or from the perspective of a storyteller who doesn't appear in the story at all.
Point of View The type of narrator a writer chooses to use convey a message.
