What is matter? Matter is anything that takes up space and has a mass.
Three states of matter Solid, Liquid, Gas
What is a mixture? A mixture is an impure substance made up of two or more substances.
What is a pure substsance? A substance that is only made up of itself. It is not mixed with anything.
What is a solution? A mixture that is made when two substances are mixed together to form something new and are mixed completely.

What is the best way to sort waste materials? Recycling

The higher the PH value The stronger the base
A neutral substance has a PH value of 7
3 properties of Acids 1. Sour taste 2. Rough feel 3. Many acids are dangerous because they are corrosive (can burn skin easily)
2 properties of bases 1. bitter taste 2. feel slippery
