TermDefinition
Population A group of people or animals living in a certain place.
Ecosystem All the living and nonliving things that interact with each other in an environment.
Overpopulation When the number of a species outgrows the available resources.
Invasive Species Any nonnative species that disturbs the ecosystems in which it has been introduced.
Niche The special role each organism plays in its habitat.
Species A group of animals or plants whose members are similar and can breed together to produce young animals or plants.
