U-Shaped Valley | Caused by a glacier melting |
V-Shaped Valley | Caused by a stream high in the mountains. |
Delta | An area of sediment that builds up to form a flat piece of land where a river flows into an ocean or a lake. |
Deposition | Depositing sediment in a new location (builds new land) |
Erosion | The movement of weathered material by wind, water, waves or ice. |
Glacier | A large body of ice moving slowly down a slope or over a wide area of land. |
Landform | A feature of Earth’s surface. |
Sediment | Material deposited by water, wind, or ice. |
Weathering | The breaking down of rock into smaller pieces. |
