Deoxyribonucleic acid (Emilie sav) It is the proper name for DNA.
Chromatain (Emilie sav) It is a substance within a chromosome consisting of DNA and protein.
Chromosomes (Emilie sav) It is thread-like structures located inside the nucleus of animal and plant cells.
Nitrogen Base pairs (Emilie sav) It is an over term for the four terms,adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine.
Adenine (Emilie sav) It is one of the four Nitrogen Base in the nucleic acid of DNA which is represented by A.
Thymine (Emilie sav) It is one of the four Nitrogen Base in the nucleic acid of DNA which is represented by T.
Cytosine (Emilie sav) It is one of the four Nitrogen Base in the nucleic acid of DNA which is represented by C.
Guanine (Emilie sav) It is one of the four Nitrogen Base in the nucleic acid of DNA which is represented by G.
Double helix (Emilie sav) It is the description of the structure of a DNA molecule.
Gene (Emilie sav) It is a twisted string of DNA.
Nucleotide (Emilie sav) It is an organic molecule that is the building block of DNA
Catalyze (Emilie sav) It is an enzyme that catalyzes the breakdown of the sugars.
Enzymes (Emilie sav) it speed up the rate of virtually all of the chemical reactions that take place within cells.
Genetic screening (Emilie sav) It is the process of testing a population for a genetic disease in order to identify a subgroup of people that either have the disease or the potential to pass it on to their offspring.
Genetically modified organism (Emilie sav) It is an animal, plant, or microbe whose DNA has been altered using genetic engineering techniques.(GMO)
Transgenic organism (Emilie sav) It is a genetically modified organism is any organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques.
Mutagen (Emilie sav) It is a physical or chemical agent that permanently changes DNA.
Mutation (Emilie sav) It is a change that occurs in our DNA sequence.
