QuestionAnswer
What do all living things need to survive? Food, water, light
What is an embryo? An immature plant from which a new plant will grow.
Where do seeds get energy to germinate? The food storage or cotyledon inside the seed.
How do seeds travel? Seeds can be transferred by people or animals, by a breeze that blows, animal droppings, carried by waves, wind, or getting stuck on someone and falling off in a new area.
What is it important for the seeds to scatter away from the mother plant? So the plants don't have to compete for sunlight, water , and nutrients from the soil.
What are the parts of a seed called? Embryo, seed coat, stored food
