sound created by vibrations that produce waves of energy that move through matter
vibration back and forth movement, that causes sound
pitch measures how high or low a sound is
loudness measures how well a sound can be heard
decibel unit measuring loudness
Doppler Effect the change in pitch (frequency) as a sound gets closer to you
vacuum a place where there are NO molecules. Sound can not be heard here.
hertz unit measuring pitch (frequency)
amplitude height of a wave. used to measure loudness (volume)
frequency number of waves that pass a position in a certain amount of time
