| Erosion | The movement of sediments to a new location. Wind, water, gravity, ice. Creates sea arches, caves, mesas, cliffs, etc. |
| Deposition | The collection of sediment in a new location; constructive! Example: Sand dunes made by wind erosion |
| Volcanoes | Mountains made at plate boundaries or above hot spots. |
| Earthquakes | Destructive; can cause further destruction by causing volcanic eruptions and tsunamis |
