| Universe | The universe is always expanding and holds all life. |
| Galaxy | A system of millions or billions of stars, made of gas and dust, held together by gravitational attraction, & are different sizes and shapes. |
| Disk & Spiral Shaped Galaxy | Has "arms", Dense center. |
| Irregular Shaped Galaxy | No defined shape, no clear bulge or disk, the leftovers of two colliding galaxies. |
| Elliptical Shaped Galaxy | Oval shaped, most abundant galaxies in the universe, most are composed of older, low-mass stars. |
| Milky Way | We live in a spiral galaxy called the milky way. |
| Light Year | The distance light travels in one year. |
| Cluster | A cluster of stars can appear in a galaxy |
| Andromeda Galaxy | A spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years from earth and is the nearest major galaxy to the milky way. |
