Fish breathe with gills, lays eggs, has scales, cold-blooded
Mammal breathe with lungs, live birth, warm-blooded, fur or hair, feeds young with milk
Bird lays eggs, warm-blooded, breathes with lungs, has feathers and wings
Reptile lays eggs, has dry scales or plates, cold-blooded, breathes with lungs,
Amphibian animal with smooth and slimy skin, lays eggs, part of life cycle is in the water, cold-blooded
Arthropod an animal that is an invertebrate with an exoskeleton, segmented body, and jointed legs such as an arachnid (spider) or crustacean (crab)
Warm-blooded an animal that is able to keep a constant body temperature
Cold-blooded an animal that has a body temperature that matches the environment
Nymph stage in the life cycle where the insect looks like the adult but a smaller version
Adult insect or animal is fully grown and ready to reproduce
Larva small worm like stage, after hatching out of the egg, eats and grows
Pupa Stage where larva changes to an adult, chrysalis or cocoon
Egg a reproductive structure where a new living thing can hatch if it is fertilized
Metamorphosis a process of physical change some animals go through to become an adult
