Big Bang Theory When all matter, energy, and space were squeezed into a very small volume, it resulted in a sudden expansion resulting in the Big Bang Theory.
Visible Light Spectrum Light shining from a star can be separated into a band of colors called the light spectrum.
Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation (CMB) Energy was found in the form of microwaves and is coming at us from every point in the universe. It was called the "relic" radiation..
Helium The universe consists of 25% helium.
Red Shift & Blue Shift Red has a lower pitch than the blue end.
Spectrograph Used to measure stars' properties.
Energy What is believed to be the leftover energy from the Big Bang was heard over radio.
Universe Scientists believe that the Big Bang was the birth of the universe. The universe is infinite and expanding.
Galaxy Galaxies expanded throughout the universe and became more distant from each other. Space causes the galaxies to move.
Astronomy The study of the stars and universe.
Albert Einstein Albert Einstein and Sir Issac Newton theories of Relativity and Gravity concluded that the universe was lacking movement but was later proved to be false.
Edwin Hubble In 1929 he discovered an electromagnetic property called the Red Shift. He explained why the galaxies appear to be moving away from one another. The universe was expanding.
