What cells function as slowly adapting mechanoreceptors? Merkel cells
What is contained in the dermis? fibroblasts, mast cells, and macrophages.
What secretes connective tissue, matrix, and collagen Fibrobasts
What cells release histamine which lead to itchy skin? Mast cells
What are phagocytic immune cells that are histocytes that are in loose connective tissue that phagocytize pigment and debris of inflammation? Macrophages.
